Imports and Exports involve a lot of technicalities because these take place between two countries, under different situations, rules and regulations and culture. As such, export-import transactions call for proper understanding and in depth knowledge of various technical aspects including Letters of Credit Operations. To learn these theoretical aspects and for sharing of many other practical details about imports,
exports and documentation from the experience of a professional - executive the training has been arranged.

Documents used under Letters of credit procedure

Types of documents:       
       1.            Commercia l Invoice
       2.            Transport documents
       3.            Other documents
       4.            Insurance documents

Transport documents:
·         Transport Documents covering at least Two Different Modes of transport
·         Bill of lading
·         Non-Negotiable Sea Waybill.
·         Charter party bill of lading,
Other Transport document:

§  Air waybills or Air consignment note,
§  Rail or road consignment notes or truck or
§  Carrier receipt,
§  Post parcel receipt
§  Differentiate between transport documents that are documents of
                title and those that are not.
